The Winning Pedal
The 141 survivors of the 2021 Tour de France arrived on the Champs Élysées on Sunday, July 18. LOOK is proud to share with you the remarkable results achieved by the 8 teams using our pedals and congratulates all the athletes for the crazy intense races they gave us day after day.
Tadej Pogacar and his UAE Team Emirates offer LOOK a 7th Tour de France. The 22-year-old Slovenian wins his second consecutive title. Like last year, he won three stages - the 5th (time trial) as well as the 17th and 18th (Pyrenean stages). In addition to the yellow leader's jersey, he also won the white jersey for the best young rider and the polka dot jersey for the best climber. Another constant: the KEO BLADE CARBON Ceramic TI pedals, which accompanied him to victory. A special limited edition in yellow is available now.
At the age of 24, Ben O'Connor of the AG2R Citroën team won his first stage victory in the Tour de France, one of four stage victories for LOOK athletes in this edition. The extraordinary breakaway that he led on stage 9 in the Alps allowed him to move up in the general classification. He then managed to resist and finished in 4th place for his first participation in the Tour de France.
Guillaume Martin, 28 years old, finished in 8th place in the 2021 Tour de France. A remarkable result that underlines his constant progress - he finished 12th in 2019 and 11th in 2020 - and makes him the best French rider in the overall classification. His offensive temperament is also to be commended.
A Tour to Remember
Beyond the exceptional athletic performances of our athletes, LOOK employees will remember this Tour for a long time as they saw it pass within a few kilometers of their factory in Nevers on Friday, July 2.
